Identity We all have one.  But in today’s world, the ability to verify a person’s identity is increasingly useful and necessary.  Whether it is for visual identification, security, tracking personnel, time keeping, or access control, personalized ID cards have become the standard tool for verifying ones identity.  IDC Photo ID  sets the standard for, easy design and issuance of personalized ID cards.

Tracking As is the case with personal identity, the ability to track personnel is becoming increasingly important. Knowing who visited you facility, which student got onto a bus, or who has reported for an emergency response situation is becoming increasingly important.  IDC Photo ID  again sets the standards for remotely identifying and tracking personnel.

Over the past ten years we have developed a series of photo Identification and tracking software products which are tailored to your specific ID card software requirements.  The ID Card Solutions Series was designed with real-world applications in mind with a goal to deliver affordable ID card software, covering a wide range of requirements from visitor badges, photo identification, to the more complex security, e-card, and tracking applications.

ID Card Solutions Series:
The ID Card Solutions Series is designed for users to create Photo ID Cards for simple to complex applications.  The QUICK START SERIES is an easy Point and Click ID card software to get you started fast.  Usually customers who use this software produce a minimum amount of cards per year.  The PROFESSIONAL SERIES is a ID card Software for more difficult applications requiring fingerprint, signature capture or large databases.  Customers who use this ID card Software print or manage a larger number of photo ID cards on an annual base, with card issuing at multiple locations.  The Enterprise SERIES is designed as an enterprise level ID card software product for the more complex applications requiring interfacing to larger databases or legacy systems.  Customers using this ID card Software enterprise version have complex applications with large database integration, smart card encoding and Secure Card issuance requirements.

Quick Start Series: Comprised of two entry level software products,  IDC Easy and  IDC Easy Plus.  This series is an excellent choice for first time users of ID card software which enables the user to produce simple photo ID badges.

 IDC  Easy is designed to produce quick and easy laminated or plastic identification cards. The user can select a card style from an assortment of templates or design a custom card tailored to individual requirements. The software is so easy to learn that multiple operators can be trained in minutes. If you require barcodes, image import, easy card design, or database creation (up to 1000 records) for applications such as access control, time and attendance, or identification card, then our Quick Start Series is perfect for you. Our  IDC  Easy software is compatible with a variety of ink jet, and laser jet printers, along with plastic card printers from Evolis, Fargo, Ultra Card or many others. 

 IDC  Easy-Plus contains all the features you will find in our  IDC  Easy ID card software with the addition of multiple card templates, larger databases, duplex printing, and magnetic stripe encoding. With our scalable software you can easily upgrade from  IDC  Easy to  IDC  Easy-Plus as your requirements grow.

PROFESSIONAL SERIES This series of ID card Software is designed to simplify the more difficult applications requiring Identity or tracking. Features such as fingerprint, signature capture, multiple images, smart-card encoding, large databases, database integration or enhanced security are a few of the features found in this series of products.    The Professional Series is comprised of Five (5) unique software products designed to streamline your application requirements.  In addition to the above mentioned features you will find products for issuing Photo ID’s, networking multiple locations, interfaces to third party databases, Time and Attendance and Visitor Management.  This feature rich series is powerful, scalable, flexible and is suited for both conventional and special applications which may require additional features or functionality   

 IDC  EXPERT Photo ID  now is compatible with Windows Vista

 IDC  EXPERT Photo ID is our benchmark product for conventional Photo ID or when faced with more
complex identification requirements or security enhancements this software is the
answer. Included within the Professional Series are a group of features and options
designed for ease of use with applications requiring additional characteristics or
enhancements beyond conventional ID card applications.

This software is designed to give the user complete control and flexibility of the
card design process. For large amounts of data (records) or organizations that wish
to create multiple card designs with associated attributes, develop a card management
strategy, or enhance printing functions: such as print one card at a time or select
multiple cards for a "Batch Print" to be printed at a later time.


Enhanced security and protection features are available to insure personal information
is secure and protected at all times. This software also gives the user the ability
to integrate with existing applications such as: Human Resources, Time and Attendance,
or Access Control systems. If any of these features are required for your application
 IDC  EXPERT Photo ID is right of you.

 IDC Photo ID  LE is designed for organizations where the need exists to have various individuals
or departments create identification cards and manage databases or functions on separate
computers (workstations) connected over a network. Multiple database management is
simple and the card holder records are secure and safe from tampering. Create a history
of your database information, reprint lost cards, and generate reports all with the
click of a mouse button. The  IDC Photo ID  LE software utility wizard will allow customization,
backup, restoration, and repair of your database should the need arise. The utility
wizard will take the guess work out of importing images and data into your databases
through our reference link utility.

IDC Photo ID EP is an expansion pack (License) for the  IDC Photo ID  LE software module. Its function
provides additional data entry and printing locations (workstations) for a network
installation. Both the LE and Expansion Packs run under the Windows 98/NT/2000/ME/XP
compatible environment. If you are interested in running under a SQL environment
then please reference the IDC Enterprise NetV software within the Enterprise Solutions Series.

IDC Photo ID View is a query module which when used with  IDC EXPERT Photo ID or  IDC Photo ID  LE provides a
“view-only” capability to your network installation. This access station is typically
user at guard stations or managers who merely wish to view data within the networked
database.

 IDC Photo ID  SE (School Edition) our school edition software contains all the features found
within the  IDC  EXPERT Photo ID or LE software but with enhanced capabilities specific to the
school market. You can build ready to use databases for school photo ID’s, read
and import data from school systems such as SASI and Life Touch, create photo CD’s
for the major school yearbook publishers.

Enterprise Solutions Series: The Enterprise Solution Series is designed to accommodate large ID card databases. Unlike traditional ID card software, this Client-Server based ID card software series uses MS SQLServer to store all the card holder's information and design elements. Designed for corporate environments this ID card software provides enhance security features to allow you to control unlimited level of access. The software uses Microsoft native connectivity to overcome many inherent problems that traditional ODBC connectivity or typical PC databases cause.

This ID card software series contains all the features of a “BEST-IN-CLASS” ID card software package with the ability to create advanced security features.

IDC Enterprise SQL This first of its kind SQL Server database ID card software package is
designed for large and complicated database structures. Applications’ needing to
issue secure ID Cards is a natural for this ID card software. There is no longer
the need to add project costs by designing special purpose interfaces or consuming
IT resources to customized secure card issuance software. When it comes to creating
a controlled environment for photo ID card applications, this "out-of-the-box" software
is your answer. The product provides all the features normally found in any card
personalization software, what makes this software unique are its abilities to use
enterprise-class database as back-end and its inherent security features.

IDC Enterprise NetV provides a MS SQL Desktop data engine which simplifies database and network
creation, it also provides a good migration path from existing databases. Wizard
like tools makes it easy to build a database or interface with existing databases.
This multiple network workstation environment with up to five (5) concurrent users
will get up up and running quickly without investing hours of configuration time.

Workstation License - Additional workstation license provide an environment for additional
data entry and printing locations. These Workstation Licenses are available for
IDC Enterprise SQL and IDC Enterprise NetV.

Query Module - The Query Module adds the ability for view-only stations, located
through out your network installation.

Desktop Solutions:

Our Quick Start and Professional Series ID card Software packages are designed to run on a standard PC Workstation platform running under MS Windows environment.  The operating environment for our ID card Software can be Windows Vista/NT/2000/XP compatible.

Enterprise Solutions:

Our Enterprise Solutions Series ID card Software packages are designed to run on a MS SQL
platform. Why IDC Enterprise? ID Card Technology Corporation has developed the Enterprise Solution Series (IDC Enterprise)
to meet the growing need for advanced features and database connectivity which reaches
beyond the traditional PC base or so called ODBC compliant ID card software. These
older types of software are no longer capable of meeting today’s complexities

IDC Enterprise SQL Our Client/Server based computing software has one major advantage; it uses
Microsoft SQL Server 2000 (standard, professional or enterprise version) to store
and manage your data. IDC Enterprise SQL software will work with your existing Microsoft SQL
Server. For those customers who do not already have the Microsoft SQL Server platform,
ID Card Technology Corporation will be able to deliver a fully configured system which will
include a full version of Microsoft SQL Server tailored to your needs.

Hardware & Server at a minimum should consist of the following:

　

File Server:	NT 4.0, Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2000 Advanced Server.  File system – NTFS. This Server will contain the common IDC Enterprise Shared directory.  The IDC Enterprise Shared directory is used to organize the various bitmaps and images used for ID Card designs, Logos, Client Interface elements, and other graphics shared between all clients.  It does NOT contain any design,  configuration, or security information.  All IDC Enterprise users should have read/write access to this directory. Performance:  It is recommended that this file server have adequate memory 512mb minimum, and disk drive speeds of at least 7200 RPM. Note: File server and the database server may reside on a single computer.
SQL Server:	SQL Server 2000 or SQL Server 2005 instance configured for SQL Server Authentication mode.  Primary consideration for instance choice is: IDC Enterprise requires at least one login (dbAdmin – see Security Overview below) that is a member of the Sysadmin Server Roles.  Depending upon local standards and licensing requirements,  you may elect to either attach the IDC Enterprise database to it’s own dedicated instance and allow for user administration or attach to an instance with multiple databases and have an individual from the DBA group fill the role of ‘dbAdmin’ on the IDC Enterprise system. Authentication mode: SQL Server authentication Logon Privilege: "System Administrators" privilege. ie. "SA" is the typical SQL Server System Administration user or any user with "SA" equivalent privileges. Performance:  It is recommended that this server have adequate memory to support cleint access. Storage disk space depends on the population of your photo id records
Workstation:	900 MHz P4 with 512mb memory, minimum.  2.0 GHz P4 with 256mb or greater preferred.  OS – Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP Professional.  Note:  Workstation (client) may have additional requirements depending upon peripherals used (Card printers, cameras, video capture cards, fingerprint scanners, signature scanners, etc.)
